Status update!

As none of the other group members are able to post at the minute, I thought it would be best to have a status update.

The artefact project has been temporarily put on hold due to other, more important assignments being given to each member of the group. We'll start working on the artefact again when these assignments have been completed, namely in a few weeks.

I can, however, point out that some of the other assignments which have been given to us are shaping up nicely. Also, in the meantime, some of our alternate projects for the NTU Developer Society are also getting underway; these have a lower priority than artefact and can be found on the NTU Developer Society website.

The changes... they are coming

First off, I hope everyone had a good Christmas and that you're not overstuffed on Turkey! For those of you who liked your presents, congrats; for those of you who didn't... well, there's always the returns area. I myself had a perfect family Christmas, albeit in sunny Singapore.

Anyway.

Due to recent issues in the site system and general ongoing unhappiness with the administration area, we're performing a gradual upgrade of the LG:Blog components. A large number of features will be unavailable during this time, and we apologise for any inconvenience.

The upgrade will begin on the Artefact website later on today, at about 0400GMT. This upgrade will convert the entire site to the latest LG:Blog 3.5 code. Many features are still not working in this code, however it is stable enough to reproduce most of the features that are active now - blah blah blah, technical stuff. Basically, you won't notice much difference unless you're an administrator or if you want to post a comment.

Edit 1: In my haste to fix the website, I deleted a bunch of important content. You'll notice that some posts on the next few pages have missing images. I'm sorry about that: I will fix this when I get home on the 10th of January.
